Popular city builder Cities: Skylines 2 is currently free-to-play on Steam for a limited time. Gamers can try Cities: Skylines 2 until November 10, with a free weekend event ongoing and a discount extending beyond that.
As the sequel to the immensely popular Cities Skylines, the 2023 city builder had a lot to live up to. Admittedly, the reception to the game was rough, and it currently holds a « Mixed » review score on Steam, with many players claiming Cities: Skylines 2 was missing features that made the original so great. However, the game retains a strong player base on Steam, despite its earlier struggles, and Colossal Order has continued to improve it via updates over the last few years.
