President Trump gushed over the Village People to the leaders of Canada and Mexico on Friday after breaking out his signature “YMCA” dance at FIFA’s World Cup 2026 draw in Washington.
Jeremy Freeman, an expert witness forensic lip reader based in the United Kingdom, told The Post he observed Trump mouthing the letters of the disco group’s iconic song and even trying to convince first lady Melania Trump to sing or dance along.
“I love this,” Trump said to Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney as they watched the performance with Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum and the first lady, according to Freeman.
After breaking out his “YMCA” shimmy, Trump explained to Carney and Sheinbaum what he loves about the Village People – who performed at the president’s inauguration festivities earlier this year.
