Windows 11’s File Explorer has been in the news in the last few days for all the wrong reasons. From flashbanging users to reports of slow performance, File Explorer got all the negative press in the last couple of weeks. Microsoft has fixed the bug that’s causing Windows 11’s File Explorer to flash a brief white screen in dark mode, the company hasn’t officially responded to its performance issue.
However, it’s not all bad news for File Explorer, as Microsoft has finally fixed a major UI issue that’s annoyed users ever since the release of Windows 10. While the issue still exists in Windows 10, Windows 11 with the latest update installed can finally experience a more consistent dark mode across File Explorer.
