Coming to select markets in the next few months
Joining the already available Midnight Black, Titanium Gray, Coral Blue, and Lilac Purple color options, customers will now be able to buy the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Samsung Galaxy S9+ smartphones in either Sunrise Gold or Burgundy Red colors, which will be coming only in select markets in the next few weeks.
« People want to be able to express their style and personality through their technology and color is a big part of that personalization, » said Younghee Lee, CMO and Executive Vice President of Samsung Electronics. « The new editions extend the color offerings of Galaxy S9 and S9+ with vibrant styles that embrace a modern and classic feel. »
Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ are Samsung’s first devices to feature a Sunrise Gold edition, which offers a satin gloss finish with a soft glimmer and glow, giving customers a feeling of calm and vibrancy at the same time. On the other hand, the Burgundy Red edition offers a luxury, traditional and contemporary look with deep red colors and restrained gloss.
While the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ Burgundy Red edition will be available first in South Korea and China beginning May 2018, the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ Sunrise Gold edition is coming in June 2018 in select markets including Australia, United Arab Emirates, Russia, Korea, Spain, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Vietnam, Mexico, Chile, and Germany.
Samsung says that both the Sunrise Gold and Burgundy Red editions of the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ smartphones will be available to buy in additional markets in the coming months throughout 2018. Customers will soon be able to purchase the new color options from Samsung’s online store and in-store directly from a local mobile dealer selling Samsung’s latest flagships.
