The president heads to the G7 summit on Friday in La Malbaie, Canada. Then his on-again, off-again Singapore summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is on again and scheduled to take place June 12.
The first lady hasn’t been seen publicly since May 10. Four days later the White House told reporters that she was in the hospital at Walter Reed Medical Center after undergoing a “successful” kidney procedure for a “benign” condition.

The first lady also dashed off a tweet.
“I see the media is working overtime speculating where I am & what I’m doing. Rest assured, I’m here at the @WhiteHouse w my family, feeling great & working hard on behalf of children & the American people,” Melania Trump wrote.
A CNBC reporter working at the White House last week noted on Twitter that he saw the first lady walking with her aides in the West Wing. She was wearing sunglasses.
