Michigan football lands commitment from Ohio WR Quintel Kent

Kent has no stars in 247Sports’ composite ranking.
Michigan football has its first receiver for the class of 2019.
Quintel Kent, a 6-foot, 170-pound wideout from Lakewood, Ohio, committed to the Wolverines on Saturday.
He announced his commitment on Twitter, posting a graphic of himself in a Michigan uniform with the word « COMMITTED » scrolled across the middle and a posed photo of himself on the field at Michigan Stadium.
Kent is a three-star recruit according to 247Sports, but has no stars in 247Sports’ composite ranking system.
Michigan offered him a scholarship in June. Kent also has offers from Ball State, Bowling Green, Kent State, Northern Illinois and FCS programs Eastern Kentucky and Western Illinois.
Prior to Kent’s commitment, Michigan’s 2019 recruiting class ranked 12th nationally and second in the Big Ten.
