Today, Google announced the redesigned Google Fit experience for Android phone and Wear OS by Google watch. The new Google Fit experience is centered around two simple and smart activity goals: Move Minutes and Heart Points. Google worked with the American Heart Association (AHA) and the World Health Organization (WHO) to develop this activity goals.
Here’s how you can earn Move Minutes and Heart Points:
In addition, Google Fit will also automatically detect other activities like walking, running or biking. Google Fit also works with other fitness apps like Strava, Runkeeper, Endomondo and MyFitnessPal. The journal in Google Fit will show your activities, achievements and goal progress across all of your apps.
This new experience will be rolled out to users around the world starting this week.
