SAG-AFTRA and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) have reached a tentative deal for voice actors working in TV animation, the two organizations announced in a joint statement on Wednesday.
The agreement was made two months after SAG-AFTRA members voted nearly unanimously to approve a strike after the previous agreement expired in June 2017. The main contention point between the two groups was pay scale wages and residuals for TV shows made for streaming services like Netflix and Amazon.
