Bandai Namaco lifts the lid (slightly) on the second content expansion for Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom.
Titled The Lair of the Lost Lord, the second major DLC pack for Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom will be released this winter. It will be available via the game’s season pass, or as a separate purchase.
The Lair of the Lost Lord features a new labyrinth dungeon located in the Rubby Ruins in which players have to battle the Prince of Wraiths. There are also new quests that flesh out Ni no Kuni II ‘s main characters, and a new Material Method fighting system that enhances the game’s combat. Over 80 new weapon and armour items are also included.
Apart from that – and the beautiful key art – that’s all there is to know. The winter release date remains vague, but it will hopefully emerge this side of the new year. Standalone pricing details are also yet to be confirmed.
In the meantime, the main game is certainly worth a look if you havent played it. In our review, Josh Wise called it satisfying and addictive.
Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is available now for PlayStation 4 and PC.
