Houstonians looking to get out during the holidays have a shiny option this November.
Magical Winter Lights is returning to the Houston area for its fourth year in a row, offering visitors a chance to stroll through an extravagant light show and festival.
The three-month event will open its doors on Nov. 16 with two brand-new lantern sections.
« Almost half will be brand new, » a spokesperson for the Magical Winter Lights told HoustonPress . « They’ve been restyled, redesigned or are completely brand new. »
One old favorite is a Houston-themed lantern section called « Deep in the heart of Texas, » complete with tributes to the Lone Star State and Bayou City’s most iconic characteristics.
Aside from the displays, the festival will also include cultural performances, carnival rides, and Chinese arts.
