Finding the Ice Cavern level in Spyro the Dragon’s Peacekeepers world can be tricky, but here is exactly where to find it in Spyro: Reignited Trilogy.
Spyro: Reignited Trilogy is out now, and is a near exact recreation of the original PS1 games, but with updated graphics and audio. This means that the collection carries over some of the trickier things from the original game, including the entrance to the Ice Cavern level in the Peacekeepers world, which has traditionally been hard to find for fans.
As it turns out, the Ice Cavern isn’t even necessarily hidden in Spyro: Reignited Trilogy. Even so, the path can be hard to spot, as it is one of the only level portals in the entire game that isn’t in plain sight. After traveling to the Peacekeepers world, take a left and find the balloonist. While facing the balloonist, check to the right to find a slope that leads down to the Ice Cavern portal.
Like basically every other stage in the game, minus the flying levels of course, Ice Cavern is full of gems for Spyro to collect and dragons for him to save. In total, there are 400 gems and five dragons, so it’s one of the meatier levels in terms of content, and should go a long way in helping players reach that 100% statistic in-game.
Those who are still having trouble finding the Ice Cavern in Spyro: Reignited Trilogy should check out this video by YouTube channel EmptyGarbageCan. It uses footage from the original Spyro the Dragon PS1 game, but players will need to follow the exact same path in Spyro: Reignited Trilogy.
Once players know exactly where to find the Ice Cavern in Spyro the Dragon, they will be much closer to fully completing the game. However, it’s worth pointing out that Spyro: Reignited Trilogy has additional challenges for Spyro 1 players to complete besides just beating all the stages, saving all the dragons, and finding all of the gems. Players are also tasked with collecting all of the Skill Points, which usually require them to do things like finding hidden items (such as the pink tulip in Stone Hill), discovering secret areas, or beating bosses without taking any damage.
Spyro: Reignited Trilogy is out now for PS4 and Xbox One.
