There is a new Splinter Cell game at The Game Awards 2018? Well, there isn’t and there won’t be for a while.
Over the past weekend, we received a very enticing video from The Game Awards 2018 host Geoff Keighley. A teaser to get our appetite rolling for the full show. It showed numerous games including a brief look at Sam Fisher. Soon after, I noticed many publications writing about a new Splinter Cell game reveal at The Video Game Awards 2018.
However, I am highly skeptical about the possibility of a new Splinter Cell video game announcement anytime prior to E3 2019. While it isn’t far-fetched to believe a new Splinter Cell is currently in development at Ubisoft, only a couple of months ago Ubisoft’s Chief Creative Officer Serge Hascoet briefly touched upon the idea of a new release.
