A gunman in West Baltimore opened fire into a crowd on Sunday evening, killing one person and wounding six others, according to The Associated Press.
The shooting occurred around 5 p.m. on Edmondson and Whitmore avenues, according to Baltimore Police Department Commissioner Michael Harrison.
Two cookouts were in progress on opposite ends of the street and shell casings were found in two different locations, suggesting either a second gunman or someone firing back at the first, according to Harrison.
