Epic Games postponed the launch of Season 3 of its wildly popular Fortnite battle royale game, which has more than 350 million registered players.
Epic Games postponed the launch of Season 3 of its wildly popular Fortnite battle royale game, which has more than 350 million registered players, due to the protests related to the killing of a black man by a white police officer.
In some ways, Epic Games is a little late in doing the postponement, following other announcements by Electronic Arts and Sony. On the other hand, it’s a signal that the unrest in the U. S. related to Black Lives Matter and the killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis is having an impact beyond nine days of protests.
