Far Cry 6 could be a Far Cry 3 prequel starring Vaas, if a new fan theory is to be believed. The game has been leaked on the PlayStation Store, with this information opening up new theories about its plot.
Far Cry 6 has been leaked on the Hong Kong PlayStation Store, all but officially confirming that the game is on its way and will star The Mandalorian and Better Call Saul actor Giancarlo Esposito. However, a new theory has also suggested that the new Far Cry will actually be a prequel, telling the story of Far Cry 3 villain Vaas.
The theory stems from IGN’s Joe Skrebels, who has pointed out that Diego — a character shown in Far Cry 6‘s PlayStation Store listing — has the same eyebrow scar as Michael Mando’s portrayal of Vaas in live-action skits. Mando also provided the voiceover work for Vaas in Far Cry 3, along with appearing alongside Esposito in Better Call Saul.
