The Issue: Calls for Gov. Cuomo to face impeachment after his resignation due to reports of sexual harassment. Absolutely impeach Gov. Cuomo anyway ( “Impeach Him Anyway,” Editorial, Aug.12). He must be barred from achieving any “second chance” in politics. He needs to be held accountable for all the seniors who were infected with COVID and died due to his power. With all due respect to the brave women who came forward, they are still alive. My aunt died in a nursing home in April of 2020, alone with no proper burial and no religious rites because of his deadly decisions. Cuomo never answered for it and then profited from it. He should be brought up on charges. My aunt doesn’t get a second chance now that he’s out of office. There should be no second chance for him either. Impeach him. Susan Kerr Stony Brook I think it’s absolutely amazing how the media and the left have focused on Cuomo’s dalliances to bring him to his knees. He has committed far more egregious acts in his 11 years. Two that stand out are his signing of the incredibly stupid no-bail law and his failure to protect the citizens of New York by preventing the National Guard from quelling the looting and rioting in New York City last year.
