Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (Ga.) said she was attacked in a restaurant Monday night by a woman and her « adult son, » the latest example of leftist activists threatening lawmakers in public.
« They had no respect for the restaurant or the staff or the other people dining or people like me who simply have different political views, » Greene tweeted. « They are self righteous, insane, and completely out of control. »
Greene said she was working with her staff at a table and did not notice the individuals « until they turned into demons. »
Greene, an outspoken critic of President Joe Biden, isn’t new to threats from leftists.
