Curved Greatswords are as good as they are stylish, and here are the very best Cursed Greatswords in Elden Ring.
Curved Greatswords remained widely unpopular in the Elden Ring community for a long time. Not only did they weigh down players by a considerable amount, but their base attack rating also underperformed severely when compared to weapons in other classes. However, FromSoftware rolls out frequent patches to balance the game for the players, and patch 1.09 finally enhanced the speed, range, recovery time, and guard counter speed of Curved Greatswords.
These weapons deserve the spotlight for a change and players are rushing to include these weapons in their builds, which may startle foes at the Colosseum off-guard thanks to their unique move-set. 9 Monk’s Flameblade
There are only a handful of weapons in FromSoftware games that look as attractive as the Monk’s Flameblade but perform so poorly. This weapon does not have any valid perks which can provide players with any tactical or offensive advantage. It is the third-shortest weapon in the Curved Greatsword class and has a relatively low attack rating.
It also features an astoundingly low drop rate, which is 4% on 100 Discovery. This makes it a nuisance to farm for players who are not on a weapon-collecting spree. It can be obtained by farming Fire Monks near the Giant-Conquering Hero’s Grave on the Mountaintops of the Giants 8 Dismounter
Dismounter features the second-highest attack range among all Curved Greatswords and can be obtained relatively easily. It also has a « B » scaling in Strength and Dexterity while it carries the « Quality » affinity. However, it lacks severely in attack rating when compared to its peers.
If one’s tarnished prefers range to attack rating and is comfortable with the move-set, the Dismounter may be the ideal choice for early to mid-game. It can be farmed at the Kaiden camp, south of the Murkwater Coast grace, and infused with selected Ashes of Wars. 7 Onyx Lord’s Greatsword
Players that are looking for a Mage build with points strategically invested into Strength can take full advantage of the Onyx Lord’s Greatsword. It is imbued with gravity magic and its Ash of War, Onyx Lord’s Repulsion, releases a dome of gravity magic that tips enemies off their balance and deals massive damage.
