Renowned leaker billbil-kun confirmed that a Quake II remaster will be announced at QuakeCon 2023. It will launch on PC and all consoles.
Following last month’s rating from the South Korean board, a new rumor has emerged regarding a potential Quake II remaster announcement.
Renowned leaker billbil-kun got their hands on some documents from the United States and European Union rating boards (ESRB and PEGI), and it seems like these files reveal that the rating for the Quake II remaster will go live on the ESRB website at this address on August 11th.
That likely means a reveal at QuakeCon 2023 since the returning convention (following three years of virtual events caused by the COVID pandemic) will take place next week at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas, from Thursday, August 10th through Sunday, August 13th.
