Overwatch 2 is bringing back one of the game’s most popular new arcade modes with an exciting twist in Season 8, Call of the Hunt.
Overwatch 2 is bringing back the popular prop hunt game mode during Season 8. This hide-and-seek mini-game will be a part of the Overwatch 2 Lunar New Year celebration at the end of January, and will take place on a brand-new map.
Call of the Hunt is the eighth season of Overwatch 2. This beastly batch of content includes plenty of new skins inspired by monster hunters, and includes a Battle Pass refresh with new cosmetics to collect. The accompanying Overwatch 2 Season 8 patch also introduces tons of balance changes, as well as Mauga, the new tank hero.
According to a recent Overwatch 2 blog post, players can expect the triumphant return of Misfits and Magic, the popular hide-and-seek prop-hunting arcade game mode, along with the Lunar New Year event on January 30, near the end of Season 8.
