The 25-year-old daughter of Chiefs owner Clark Hunt took to X after the mass shooting that left a mom of two dead and 22 others — including nine children — injured to post glamorous shots from the victory parade, including one of her proudly holding the gleaming trophy before the event descended into chaos.
“The most beautiful, perfect day of love, laughter, & celebration at the Chiefs Super Bowl parade turned upside down in an instant,” Hunt’s post began. “I’m still processing today’s tragedy.
“I love this city and I’m angry at what took place and heartbroken for the victims, their families, & the KC community. This world is broken and thank God it is not our home.”
The 2021 Miss USA contestant said she was glad she had the “hope of heaven” and that “life is precious and each day is a gift.
