This list breaks down the most evil decisions you can make in SWTOR’s Fallen Empire and Eternal Throne expansions.
Star Wars: The Old Republic is known for its variability and for allowing multiple opportunities for players to role-play and make their characters as noble or as vile as they wish, which is represented in the force alignment. Notably, it is not restricted by class, and it is possible to play a dark-aligned Jedi or a light-aligned Sith if the player so wishes.
While in the original game, the choices were dependent on one’s class due to each unique story, by the time the story reached the Knights of the Fallen Empire/Eternal Throne expansions (KOTFE and KOTET), each class partook in a shared storyline. Its choices are something the characters of every class will have to make, and those two expansions provide ample opportunity for some of the most ruthless dark-side decisions in the game. 10 Keeping Dramath Prisoner
In chapter 7 of KOTET, the player visits the desolate world of Nathema, the homeworld of the Sith Emperor. They see the extent to which Vaylin and Valkorion’s other prisoners suffered, with one of the most notable examples being the spirit of his father, lord Dramath, who Valkorion trapped in a Holocron.
The player talks with Dramath, and the latter reveals the possibility of defeating Tenebrae, asking for freedom in return. The player can fulfill his wish or prolong his endless suffering by keeping him in the Holocron. Even though this decision gives the Outlander an additional companion in chapter 9, it’s still quite ruthless in its nature. 9 Humiliating Arcann And Senya
The most impactful choice the player will make in those expansions is in Chapter 1 of KOTET, when the player can either redeem Arcann or kill him. While killing him isn’t an inherently evil act, considering the billions of lives he took during his time as a tyrant, how the player goes about it can vary.
The player can choose to humiliate Senya before her death, rubbing the fact that she failed in her face, making her last moments agonizing. Similarly, during Arcann’s execution, the player can kill him efficiently and quickly with one strike or make it slow and painful with three strikes. Similarly, with Vaylin, despite her villainy, the insults and humiliation the Outlander can hurl at her and her family are recontextualized with the knowledge of how Valkorion victimized them. 8 Killing Koth
Koth can leave a different impression on people depending on their play style.
