Princess Anne nearly lost control of her horse during the Trooping the Colour parade meant to honor her brother King Charles III on Saturday.
Princess Anne appeared to have trouble taming her horse during the 2024 Trooping the Colour procession in London on Saturday.
Live cameras caught only daughter of the late Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip attempting to maintain her composure as her horse began acting unruly while she rode next to two royal guards who were also on horseback.
She eventually got the horse in control and continued on as normal.
Princess Anne, 73, rode in the annual Trooping the Colour with her brother Prince Edward and nephew Prince William.
The parade celebrates the British monarch’s birthday. King Charles III will turn 76 on November 14.
Anne’s role in the parade was the “Gold-Stick-in-Waiting,” which means she was entrusted with her brother’s safety.
