Former President Donald Trump was mocked on social media on Saturday after he joked about taking his shirt off during a speech at a Faith and Freedom Coalition conference.
Trump was the keynote speaker at the « Road to Majority » conference in Washington, D.C., hosted by the conservative Christian political advocacy group, Faith and Freedom Coalition, on Saturday. The group strongly advocates for a national ban on abortion. Trump’s speech comes two days before the second anniversary of the Supreme Court’s decision that overturned Roe v. Wade, which had maintained that the Constitution protected a woman’s right to an abortion.
Trump’s position on the issue is that abortion legislation should be determined at the state level, saying on Saturday, « The people will decide and that’s the way it should be.
