Democrats Target Battlegrounds With First Harris-Walz Paid Ad Campaign

In a move aimed at consolidating support ahead of November’s elections, the Democratic Party has launched its first major paid advertising campaign featuring Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.
Announced by the Democratic National Committee (DNC) on Monday, the initiative represents a significant investment in pivotal battleground states, where the outcome will be critical to the presidential race.
Harris’ chances of beating her Republican rival Donald Trump have jumped by 23% since she announced her candidacy on July 19, according to polls conducted in the past few weeks.
The DNC’s latest strategy includes over 70 billboards strategically placed across seven key states: Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
This is the first wave of paid advertisements for the Harris-Walz ticket since Walz’s entry into the campaign.
