Ford Motor Company is recalling over 850,000 units due to low-pressure fuel pumps which could fail and lead to an engine stall while driving, according to a Monday notice from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Key Facts
The NHTSA warned the fuel pumps of certain Ford and Lincoln vehicles “increases the risk of a crash” and that a remedy is under development, with the manufacturing company sending letters to car owners by July 14 notifying them of the safety risk.
