Rare cyst found on ‘The Blind Side’ star Quinton Aaron’s spine as actor remains ‘fighting for his life’: report

Doctors reportedly found a rare cyst on Quinton Aaron’s spine while running a series of tests on « The Blind Side » star following his startling fall last week, his loved ones revealed on Tuesday.
Quinton Aaron’s family has shared a troubling health update as “The Blind Side” star remains “fighting for his life” on life support in the hospital.
Doctors reportedly found a rare cyst on the 41-year-old actor’s spine while running a series of tests, his loved ones told TMZ on Tuesday.
Although doctors are said to be running additional exams to determine whether the cyst is benign, Aaron’s family told the outlet that the “Be Kind Rewind” star may have to undergo back surgery.
Back surgery would result in “extensive physical therapy” and potentially leave Aaron “confined to a wheelchair” for the foreseeable future, his family said.
The Post has reached out to Aaron’s rep for further comment.
Aaron is best known for portraying NFL offensive lineman Michael Oher opposite Sandra Bullock’s Leigh Anne Tuohy in the Oscar-winning 2009 film “The Blind Side.”
He was rushed to the hospital after his legs suddenly gave out while walking up the stairs of his Atlanta, Georgia, home late last week, his manager told TMZ on Sunday.
