Microsoft today announced that Visio Online is generally available to commercial Office 365 subscribers. In doing so, the company also adding a commenting feature and a JavaScript API.
Microsoft announced the general availability of Visio Online today, which has been in public preview since November. The web app allows users to view and share their diagrams, and as of today, that will be open to ‘almost all’ commercial Office 365 subscribers.
But aside from general availability, there are also a couple new features. The firm introduced commenting today, which should allow your team « a place to review and discuss process flows, shape data and more without switching windows. »
There are also new JavaScript APIs, which extend the capabilities of the web app.
