Microsoft released Windows 10 for PCs build 16199 to the Fast ring

It’s a new week, which means that it’s time for a new Windows 10 build in the Fast ring. Build 16199 for PCs includes a number of new features, some of which were announced at Build 2017.
It’s that time again; it’s time to check for updates on your Fast ring devices, as Windows 10 for PCs build 16199 is now available. It comes alongside Mobile build 15215, but unlike the one for phones, this contains a number of new features.
Naturally, this build comes from the Redstone 3 Development Branch, which means that it’s a preview of the Fall Creators Update, the name of which was announced last week at Build 2017 .
Here’s what’s new:
As you can see, there’s quite a bit that’s new, although there are still no OneDrive Files On-Demand, which is the replacement for placeholders that was announced last week .
If you’ve been running Fast ring builds and haven’t yet received the Story Remix app, don’t worry. As it turns out, Microsoft has been A/B testing the app, so you’ll get it eventually. If you want it now, you can email PhotosPreviewProgram@microsoft.com for instructions on getting it early.
