Up, up and away! Baby galago blasts off from planet earth like a superhero in incredible slow-motion video

Footage showing Monaka, a baby galago, launching herself off the floor of her home in Osaka, Japan, and into the air. She disappears out of frame for a few seconds before returning and landing.
A baby galago showed off his ability to defy gravity while being filmed by her owner.
Monaka, who lives in Osaka, Japan, was filmed leaping into the air in a Matrix-esque jump while her owner filmed the impressive fear.
Footage shows the bright-eyed animal leaping into the air casually in slow motion, before disappearing out of frame.
Monaka then reappears a few seconds later and carefully lands on her feet, before jumping off again.
The amazing video was published online by user Sugar Milky on to video sharing website Storyful.
Galagos, also known as bush babies, are nocturnal animals which are native to Africa.
They are known for their ability to jump extraordinarily high, with the largest reported jump being 7.5ft.
A study by the Royal Society discovered that the small animals are able to six to nine times higher than a frog due to their strong leg muscles.
After they jump, they tuck their limbs into their chests before splaying them out shortly before landing to prevent themselves from being hurt.
