Rubio blasts Trump's plan to form 'cyber security unit' with Putin

The Florida senator’s reaction came after Trump tweeted, « Putin and I discussed forming an impenetrable Cyber Security Unit so that election hacking and many other negative things will be guarded. »
Calling out Putin and his « oppression, war crimes & interference in our elections,  » Rubio expressed his concern in a series of tweets.

He wrote, « While reality & pragmatism requires that we engage Vladimir Putin, he will never be a trusted ally or a reliable constructive partner. »
Partnering with Putin on a ‘Cyber Security Unit’ is akin to partnering with Assad on a ‘Chemical Weapons Unit,  » Rubio continued.
Trump said on Twitter the G20 Summit was a great success for the U. S. and that he pressed Putin about Russian interference in the 2016 election, saying the Russian president « vehemently denied » it.
