iOS 11 is scheduled to launch today and Apple Support has been issuing advisories to prepare people for the update. Back up your device, know your password, and make sure your device is compatible.
Today is a big day for Apple and anyone owning an iPhone, iPod, or iPad. iOS 11 launches today and there are a few things that Apple Support is advising people to do before they try to update to the new operating system. Here’s a checklist.
Also, if you were part of Apple’s Public Beta Program, it’s advised to opt out of it before Apple starts publishing even newer updates .
Once you have all of that done, you can update your device; if your Apple device is on the list of devices recieving the update, it should also alert you that a new version of the OS is available. after which you can simply follow the prompts to get it done.
