Alleged Sexual Harasser Charlie Rose Once Lectured Steve Bannon About Having 'Respect for Women'

CBS fired Charlie Rose on Tuesday after eight women accused him of sexual harassment over a period of decades. Rose has said in the past that he respects and appreciates strong women.
Scott Whitlock at NewsBusters dredged up video from Sept. 10 of Rose hammering Trump’s former chief strategist Steve Bannon about the Billy Bush tape and “locker room talk.”
“[The American people] do care about respect for women,” Rose said in response to Bannon saying that Trump wanted to appeal to working-class people in America.
“And it’s not just locker room talk,” Rose continued.
A Washington Post report revealed Monday, that eight women have come forward and accused the longtime television host of making lewd phone calls, groping them and exposing himself to them.
“Most of the women said Rose alternated between fury and flattery in his interactions with them. Five described Rose putting his hand on their legs, sometimes their upper thigh, in what they perceived as a test to gauge their reactions,” the report said.
“Two said that while they were working for Rose at his residences or were traveling with him on business, he emerged from the shower and walked naked in front of them. One said he groped her buttocks at a staff party.”
