Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A8 (2018) series shares lot of features of Galaxy S8 and the Note8 series. Read more to know the full specifications of the new Android phone.
Samsung’s much-awaited Galaxy A8 (2018) series, which is slated to debut in early January, is reportedly coming in three configurations.
The upcoming Galaxy A8+ (2018) series is expected to come with 4GB RAM+32GB storage, 4GB RAM+64GB storage and 6GB RAM+64GB storage, reported SamMobile, citing reliable sources.
Furthermore, the top-end 6GB RAM+64GB storage model is most likely to be exclusive to Asian markets — China in particular — as has become the norm for Samsung for several years to offer devicess of high system configurations in China.
Samsung Galaxy A8+ (2018) is said to share three key features of the Galaxy S8 and the Note8: the Infinity display, the Bluetooth v5.0 standard that allows control of two different speakers simultaneously and cover wide data transfer area for up to 800 metrs at speeds close to 2Mbps, and also the fast-charging feature. It’s not only a huge upgrade over the previous Galaxy A series, but also sets a new benchmark in the mid-range phone category.
The Galaxy A8+ (2018) is also coming with the proprietary Exynos 9885 octa-core CPU, which has two dedicated high-performance cores and six moderate cores for low-power-consuming tasks. This is another first for Samsung in the mid-range Galaxy A series.
As far as the camera is concerned, the Galaxy A8+ (2018) will have a 16MP snapper with a wide aperture on the back and a dual-camera (16MP+8MP) on the front with wide Field-Of-View (FOV).
It will sport a 6.0-inch full HD+ super AMOLED screen and come packed with 3,500mAh battery.
Word on the street is that is that Samsung is also bringing a generic Galaxy A8 (2018) and as the name would suggests, it will have a smaller screen and battery, but the rest of the features are expected to be same as the A8+ variant.
