As a player, being inspired by a game may drive your mind to build something special. In similar situations, we have witnessed even more significant success where ordinary modders have managed to bring a fantastic content to a game. Well, the same kind of story is about to happen in Overwatch. A new fan-made Cairo map has appeared on Youtube. Created by Shua Llorente, the Cairo-inspired map which he created looks better than fantastic.
Recently, Shua Llorente has published his creation on Reddit, showcasing his dedication in the production of his Cairo map for Overwatch, and luckily it has struck the eyes of Overwatch’s game director Jeff Kaplan who responded to Shua Llorente: “We’ll keep in touch.”
First of all, it is a payload map. As a second most striking point, it looks impressive. We have to point out that a real dedication lies behind the creation of this masterpiece, and yet we’ll discover if the map will make an appearance in Overwatch.
Before two days, the 3D artist Shua Llorente has published a walkthrough video for his Cairo map, which has been created in Unreal Engine 4. One thing’s for sure, and that is the map has caught everyone’s attention. Below you can find the Cairo map walkthrough while examining every single detail it includes.
For a payload map, it admittedly looks futuristic and still has the Overwatch style. Blizzard should consider this as a gift and will hopefully emerge on Shua’s path to success.
