A 63-year-old man died in a house fire Saturday morning in northwest suburban Harvard.
Randall Allen Hanson was pronounced dead at 4:01 a.m. at his home in the 400 block of Blackman Street, according to a statement from McHenry County Coroner Anne L. Majewski.
Preliminary autopsy results revealed Hanson died from thermal and inhalation injuries related to the fire, Majewski said.
His death and the cause of the fire remain under investigation, Majewski said.
The Harvard Fire Protection District din’t immediately respond to a request for additional information about the fire.
