After the excitement of the NFL draft’s first two rounds, the third day of selections is set to take a weird and interesting turn on Saturday.
For the fourth consecutive year, NFL teams will announce their selections in the fourth, fifth and sixth rounds from a wide array of locations, while featuring special guests to announce those picks. There will be no shortage of gimmicks.
NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy told USA TODAY Sports that the delivery of « poignant and powerful picks » has brought out the best in the teams and fan bases.
« It’s become a fun tradition for fans and clubs to showcase their community in their own unique way, » McCarthy said by email.
