«Today, what we see is nuclear test, sanction, nuclear test and then sanction again,» Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said at the Munich Security Conference, terming the UN sanctions against North Korea as ‘negative cycle’ that needs to be broken.
Wang warned that the end result could be unbearable if this negative cycle is not broken as he proposed the resumption of six party talks as a viable solution to the present situation.
«There are still opportunities for the resumption of six-party talks,» Wang said referring to the multilateral talks including China, United States, South Korea, Japan, and Russia. «We should work to bring the parties back to the table.
