The Huawei P10 will likely be announced today at MWC 2017. We’ve rounded up everything there is to know so far, including rumours surrounding the Huawei P10 UK release date, price and specifications, plus how to follow the Huawei P10 launch live.
While a few years ago Huawei was a relatively unknown brand in the UK, the announcement of the Huawei P9 in 2016 changed all that. The company has gone from strength to strength with its impressive design philosophy and great value for money in its smartphones, and it’s looking to continue that trend with the Huawei P10 in 2017. While the smartphone is yet to be announced, here is where you’ll find all the latest details on the Huawei P10 UK release date, pricing, design, features, spec and software rumours. We’ll also show you how you can follow the live Huawei P10 launch in real time. Read next: Best smartphone of 2017

Huawei rarely offers live streams of its product launches, and we have no reason to suspect otherwise for MWC 2017. If a live stream is available it will likely be broadcast on its YouTube press page and we will embed it to the top of this page, but if not there’s good news. We have reporters live at MWC 2017, and they will be live-blogging the announcements as they are made below. Release date: February 26 2017, during Mobile World Congress
So, when will we see the upcoming Huawei P10 released in the UK? While we originally thought that Huawei’s 2017 flagship wouldn’t appear until slightly later in the year, possibly around April like its predecessor, Huawei has sent out invites to a presentation in Barcelona on 26 February, the day before MWC 2017 (Mobile World Congress) is due to begin.
Huawei says that the presentation will be “the global unveiling of a new flagship device” and while that can also be interpreted as a new Huawei brand (like the mid-range Nova and Nova Plus announced at IFA 2016), we imagine it’ll be the next iteration of Huawei’s hugely popular P-range. A pre-MWC 2017 announcement is a great idea too, as other companies including Samsung and LG have similar presentations to unveil their flagships the day before MWC begins, giving all mobile manufacturers an even playing field going into the show.
While there’s no suggestion on the price of the Huawei P10, looking at the launch price of the 2016 Huawei P9, we imagine that the Huawei P10 will cost somewhere between £449-500.

With such an impressive history when it comes to smartphone design, Huawei’s P10 will no doubt impress fans. While we’d usually speculate as to what the smartphone will look like, a recent leak showcases the front of the Huawei P10. If true, the leaked photo suggests that while the general form factor of the P10 will be like that of the P9, there are a few notable changes.
This includes the fingerprint scanner being moved from the rear to the front of the device, embedded within the Home button like the Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design Edition.
