COOK COUNTY, Illinois – Attorneys for Dr. David Dao, the passenger forcefully removed from a United Airlines flight earlier this week, filed a petition Wednesday to have evidence surrounding the incident preserved, according to a filing listed on the Cook County Clerk of Circuit Court website.
Dao’s attorney said the man suffered a concussion, a broken nose and lost two front teeth during the incident.
He said Dao was released from the hospital Wednesday night.
United Airlines has announced every passenger on the flight when Dao was forced of the plane will get a refund.
