Vin Diesel brought along his family — minus a few members — when he took the stage to accept the Generation Award for the “Fast & Furious” franchise.
Gal Gadot — who starred in the “Fast & Furious” franchise before she became Wonder Woman — presented the show’s highest honor.
“I’ m going to need my family for this one, ” Diesel said, before inviting on to the stage co-stars Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, and Michelle Rodriguez.
Diesel noted how years ago, he and Paul Walker accepted the “Best Duo” award. “Now 15 years later, I’ m with my whole family and you’ re giving us the Generation Award, ” Diesel said.
At the end of his acceptance speech, he did give a shout-out to his former co-star, giving love to “his brother Pablo” (his nickname for Walker) . “We hope you’ re proud, ” he said, holding the trophy up in the air.
MTV announced previously that the action franchise would be receiving the award, which is normally reserved for individual actors. For example, past recipients have included Will Smith, Mike Myers, and Sandra Bullock.

“The Fate of the Furious” has enjoyed great success since it opened in theaters on April 14. It became the 30th film of all-time and the second film of 2017 to gross $1 billion worldwide at the box office.
