The Blue Water Folk Society plans to give away at least eight guitars and five ukuleles to youths 10 to 17 years old at this year’s Thumbfest music festival.
Thumbfest is 10: 30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sept. 2 in Lexington. It will feature more than 50 groups and performers.
To qualify for the giveaway, children must fill out an application at the Lions Hall location during Thumbfest. Applications will be available beginning at 11 a.m.
Kids must be present to receive an instrument.
