Microsoft has released its latest Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview to the Fast ring — and it’s the first build from the ‘feature2’ development branch to actually include a new feature.
Almost two weeks ago, Microsoft released Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview build 15230 to the Fast ring. As with every other release from its feature2 development branch for phones — which it split from the main Windows 10 dev branch earlier this year — that build included nothing but a handful of fixes.
Today, Microsoft has released its latest Windows 10 Mobile preview, build 15235, to phones in the Fast ring. If you were hoping that the feature2 branch might bring some actual new features to those devices after more than three months of waiting, you’re in luck… sort of.
Build 15235 includes a single new feature — but it’s only useful for those with high-end handsets that support Windows 10 Mobile’s PC-like Continuum experience, as the release notes explain:

Microsoft also released Windows 10 Insider Preview build 16251 for PCs today; that build is now rolling out to the Fast ring, including for those who opted to ‘Skip Ahead’ and test builds from the new Redstone 4 development branch .
