U. S. Sen. Jack Reed has announced that two Rhode Island shipyards have been awarded more than $1 million in federal funding to make capital improvements.
Activities at Saturday’s Matthews Alive Festival. The festival, which runs this year from Sept. 1-4, is a Labor Day weekend celebration dedicated to the support of local non-profit organizations. This is its 25th anniversary.
