In a bid to boost fundraising for nonprofit organizations, Funraise and PayPal have teamed up to provide support with a combination of software and hardware-enabled «swipe and give» technology.
Thanks to a collaboration between Funraise and PayPal, the chances that «sorry, no cash» will work when you’re asked for a charitable donation while you’re out and about continue to diminish.
Funraise builds software for nonprofits; their clients include Red Nose Day and the National Wildlife Federation. Ahead of this year’s Giving Day, scheduled for November 28th, the company has partnered with PayPal on Funraise Reader, a new system for collecting donations at charity events. Funraise utilizes PayPal Here mobile payment technology and is currently in beta.
