Gionee has officially launched its latest smartphone, the Gionee M7 Power, in India as it had assured earlier. The phone’s key feature is its 6-inch FullView display and a massive 5000mAh built-in battery with support for fast charging. Previously, the M7 Power was announced in September in China along with the standard Gionee M7. Let’s dive in to check out what’s new in the Gionee M7 Power.
The Gionee M7 Power will be available in Gold, Black and Dark Blue colours, and will retail for Rs. 16,999. The smartphone will go on sale through Amazon India from November 25,2017, and pre-orders will commence from Friday.
The Gionee M7 Power sports a 6-inch FullView display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, offering 85% NTSC colour gamut and 500 nits of peak brightness. The screen is laminated with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for scratch and scuff prevention. Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 435 chipset, which is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. However, you can expand the storage space by up to an additional 256GB through the microSD card slot. Coming to the phone’s software, it comes pre-loaded with Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box with the company’s Amigo OS 5.0 UI.
In terms of imaging, the Gionee M7 Power features a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, phase-detection autofocus, LED flash, and 1080p video recording. The front-facing camera, on the other hand, has an 8-megapixel camera with a fixed-focus lens and f/2.2 aperture. As far as the connectivity options go, the Gionee M7 Power provides dual-SIM card support along with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/A-GPS, microUSB v2.0 port, and a 3.5mm audio port. The handset packs a humongous battery with a capacity of 5000mAh along with support for fast charging.
