WASHINGTON (Reuters) — A 6.8 magnitude quake struck off the coast of Costa Rica near the capital, San Jose, on Sunday night, the U. S. Geological Survey said.
The quake, initially measured at 6.7 magnitude, was centered 44 miles (71 km) southwest of San Jose at a depth of 6.2 miles (10 km), the USGS said.
