As part of a Cyber Monday promotion, Ubisoft reveals discounts on Nintendo Switch and Wii U games, including Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle and Just Dance.
Since its the first year the console has been available, there haven’t been many Nintendo Switch deals for the holiday shopping season. However, Ubisoft has stepped forward to give fans discounts on its Nintendo Switch games as a part of a Cyber Monday promotion.
From November 27th to December 4th, Nintendo Switch owners can download some Ubisoft games from the eShop for a discounted price. The promotion is headlined by Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle at $40.19, which released earlier this year to positive reviews. Praised for its sense of humor and strong tactical gameplay, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is like Ubisoft threw Super Mario, Rabbids, and XCOM in a blender. While it sounds like a weird combination, the game’s success speaks for itself.
Besides Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, Nintendo Switch owners can also pick up the two most recent Just Dance games at a discounted price, as well as Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition. Here is the full list of Ubisoft games discounted on the Nintendo Switch eShop this week:
It’s worth noting that the Just Dance games are also discounted on the Wii U eShop, so those that have yet to upgrade can still participate in Ubisoft’s Cyber Monday promotion. Unfortunately, no other Ubisoft Wii U titles seem to be a part of the Cyber Monday discounts.
Speaking of Just Dance, it’s a little strange that Ubisoft is selling Just Dance 2017 and Just Dance 2018 at the same price. While the games offer virtually identical gameplay, the fact that one is a year older should depreciate its value. The price of other games also seem a little odd, with Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle discounted to $40.19 instead of $39.99, as would be more typical.
Regardless, Nintendo Switch owners looking for a bargain this year will no longer feel left out. Anyone looking to grow their library of Ubisoft Switch and Wii U games should take advantage of these deals before they run out on December 4th.
Nintendo Switch is available now.
