George Springer thanked every person who believed in them.
World Series MVP George Springer remembered everyone who doubted the Houston Astros while thanking the loyal fans during his speech at their parade on Friday.
Springer, who had one of the greatest World Series of all time, told the fans celebrating in Houston:
«I remember back when we got beat by New York in New York that we weren’t supposed to win, right? How’d that work out? I got told before Game 7 apparently we didn’t have a chance. How’d that work out? But, I just want to thank every single person here, every person in the city, every person in the state of Texas, every person that believed in our team.
«And I want to tell you that from the second we stepped foot on that field this year, we wanted to do something for everybody here, and it’s about time we brought something home for the great city of Houston. So, on that mark, I want everybody to celebrate, enjoy it. Houston, we have a championship team and no one can take that away from us!»

Springer will get to celebrate even more with fans this weekend during a parade at Disney World.
Disney World in Orlando announced they will have a parade Saturday honoring the World Champion Astros and three of the #Astros stars will be there: George Springer, Jose Altuve and Carlos Correa
