Games might not be getting any shorter, but at least the Yankees are trying to get fans out of The Stadium a little earlier at the start of next season.
The Yankees have moved the start times of all of their night home games from Monday-Thursday next April to 6:35 p.m. instead of 7:10 p.m.
The switch will affect seven games, beginning on April 5 against Baltimore.
Day games and Friday night games will not be affected.
The Yankees are calling it a “trial initiative,” so for now, games will start at 7:10 again beginning in May in The Bronx.
